A woman named Mary Sullivan was giving money to a homeless man named James Brigton. Mary didn't know this but she accidentally dropped her engagement ring into his hat, upon discovering the ring, James went to the nearest pawnbrokers to ask about how much the ring was worth, the pawnbroker told him it was four thousand dollars so feeling guilty, he tried to find Mary to give back the ring.
James did succeed in finding Mary and giving back the ring, still homeless and poor. Mary and her husband Adam Krejki had set up a MyCause campaign to raise a thousand dollars for James but instead, it raised more then 180 thousand, so now James has a house, a car, a part-time job and he finally reunited with his family after 16 years without them, they thought he was dead.
